Prince Llewelyn (78.13 miles 125 km )

   Last Updated 30/07/2023
A long distance East to West route across Mid Wales.

The Prince Llewelyn Ride is 133km (83 miles) long and is one of five linking routes that can be used to journey across Wales, North to South. The other rides are The Seahorse, William Morgan, Radnor Forest and the Sarn Helen.
This route takes riders from the Powys Shropshire border at Lloyney, across Wales to the sea at Borth and Ynyslas on the West coast, passing through only five villages and some tiny hamlets.
You may be lucky with some spectacular views (weather permitting) as you circumnavigate Plynlimon on the Northern side before you turn South to enter Ceredigion and pass through the last big forest, getting your first glimpse of the distant sea. There is a lovely beach from Borth to Ynyslas but it can only be ridden at low tide.
