Compton Rides
A series of rides using bridleways, restricted byways and byways, all starting from Churn Rd, Compton. Plenty of parking. A few hundred yards of road work but with very little traffic. Well-defined tracks in open downland. Outer loop is 9 miles. Shorter distances by following other tracks. Longer rides by extending towards West Ilsley using the Ridgeway and combining with rides from West Ilsley.
