Turn left here off the lane and follow the grassy track up the hill. Please note the track is narrow in places. SO 3933 8973

Permissive Track.
Start of the Gliding Field. Although the main bridleway crosses directly through the airfield it is advisable to use the alternative permissive route that forks left and runs parallel to main track to avoid crossing the active airfield.
There will be signs to warn you if gliders are active and if you need to use the alternative track.
Be vigilant for for gliders, planes and vehicles.
