Ride South toward Cranage on the road, and turn left at the cross roads.

Turn left past the houses and left again on the marked bridleway.

Turn left and ride straight on across two fields and Woodside golf course.

At the T junction with a road on your left turn right on the byway. This continues straight across two roads.

If you ride straight across Wash Lane the final piece of byway comes out on the A50 for 0.1 mile. Traffic is slow here and visibility good. To avoid that turn left on Wash Lane here, and first right.

Turn left on the Middlewich Road keeping straight ahead. The road work here is just under 1 mile.
