CE1xStart
Turn right out of car park and take bridleway on right, Wallsend Lane. At end tum left to West Littleton. Continue through village towards Marshfield. Turn into bridleway before Cadwell Hill Barn (this is a diversion, different from the OS map). After short track continue down hill to gate, up the other side to the right of the stone wall, through the gate to the right and down a short track to Springs Farm.

Proceed Waypoint 1
through the farmyard to the road and turn right. Follow this road (you can see the Severn Bridge ahead in the distance) to the A46 and ride onto the wide grass verge to the right. You need to cross to the lane opposite. TAKE CARE! THIS IS A TRUNK ROAD. CROSS WITH CARE. Follow this lane alongside Dyrham Park down Sands Hill. Take first right, past No Entry to Dyrham Park sign , left down a track then right at the road. This takes you past the back of Dyrham Park with a fine view of the garden and rear of the house and past the Church. Shortly, turn right up a steep bridleway on the Cotswold Way and at the end of the track pass through a gate into a field. Keeping tho edge of Dyrham Park on your right, proceed through three gates to Field Lane.

left then left again towards Hinton. As you go down Hinton Hill take the left turn and at the bottom of the hill turn right past Talbot Farm. Turn left at road junction opposite Ring of Bells Farm and after crossing the (small) River Boyd, turn left along the field bridleway. Follow bridleway along the river until reaching a thick hedge, Do not go through the double gates but turn right up the field edge to gate at top. Cross next field coming to small wood on right with gate to Rookery Lane.

right along road and at T-junction cross over into bridleway through Lower Field Farm. Follow track then cross two fields to opening in hedge, turning left onto Burbarrow Lane (RUPP). Turn left, cross motorway on equestrian bridge and follow lane for some distance. After passing a side turning to the left, turn right along a bridleway (track). These tracks are seldom signed as the signs disappear, but this is the only right turning. Follow track, then road, to 34465. Turn right down hill. TAKE CARE, THIS ROAD CARRIES HEAVY FREIGHT VEHICLES. Take the bridlepath to the left at the bottom Of the hill and follow left hand hedge to gate.

right at the road and return to the B4465. Turn left past Codrington Arms and in a few metres turn left into field bridleway. Follow left hand hedge and waymarks. Path has been diverted and is not as on older editions of the Pathfinder maps. At end the bridleway gate in the left hand corner is usually overgrown but the field gate ahead is usually unlocked. Turn left along Dodington Lane and very soon right into Kingrove Common. Follow track (grassed over in places) until a track can be seen turning off to the right, downhill to a gate next to a house. Through gate to Mill Lane. Turn left at T-junction towards Old Sodbury and ride to A432.

CAUTION! Waypoint 5
THIS IS A VERY BUSY ROAD. CROSS WITH CARE and ride up through houses turning right at top of hill. Follow lane back to the A432 but turn immediately left up the steep Hill Lane. Follow to end, THIS LANE EMERGES AT A SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS AT A BUSY JUNCTION OF THE A46 AND THE A432, WITH AN UNCONTROLLED SLIP ROAD PASSING THE END OF THE LANE. TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN CROSSING OVER TO THE TORMARTON ROAD OPPOSITE. Follow the one way system and turn sharp right back to the A46. Turn left, along A46, TAKE CARE! VERY BUSY ROAD. and Shortly turn along the Tormarton road.

road south over crossroads into Tormarton_ Keep left in village, past village hall along the Marshfield Road, Cross the motorway bridge and turn right into bridleway through Lower Lapdown Farm. At farm go to the end Of the road turn left through buildings then bear right to bridleway Follow the track and field edge, then the bridleway to Burton Road. Turn right and return to Crown Inn.
