COMTw01 Waypoint 1
BOAT
Before settingt out, please click on the Text Marker next to the Parking Marker.
Leaving WP 1 in a North Westerly direction towards WP 2.


COMTw02 Waypoint 2
BOAT
Continue straight across the junction of tracks towards WP 3. The track from WP 3 may not be suitable for a novice horse and / or whip (driver)and may be advisable to leave out this section by turning right on the BOAT to WP 5.


COMTw03 Waypoint 3
Mark
Make sure you keep right at the fork near the A34 and then immediately right towards WP 4.The route between WP 3 and WP 4 is a bit narrow with a V shaped gulley. Proceed with care.


COMTw04 Waypoint 4
Restricted Byway
Turn right on the Restricted Byway towards WP 5.


COMTw05 Waypoint 5
Restricted Byway
Turn left across the dismantled railway track and then right on the Restricted Byway at the junction with Boham`s Road, towards WP 6. If you are coming from WP 2 go straight across the dismantled railway track.


COMTw06 Waypoint 6
Ridgeway
Cross the Berkshire Circular Route diagonally onto the Ridgeway and WP 7. Between WP 6 and WP 7 is the Roden Downs
At WP 6 there maybe possibly some minor rutting, so proceed with care.


COMTw07 Waypoint 7
Ridgeway
Continue on the Ridgeway towards WP 8
Between WP 7 and WP 8 there are hollows made by vehicles.
You can turn right just after the Bridleway onto the BOAT to WP 12.

Ridgeway
At the junction of tracks you may bear left at the fork along the Ridgeway, ignoring the BOAT to your left or bear right at the fork to WP 11.
Between WP 8 and WP 9 there are hollows made by vehicles.
Or alternatively you may turn right on the BOAT to WP 12.

BOAT
At the junction, turn right, South towards WP 10.
Between WP 9 and WP 10 there are hollows made by vehicles.


COMTw10 Waypoint 10

At the road turn right, back towards WP 11.


COMTw11 Waypoint 11
Restricted Byway
Just past Starveall (there might be an illegal field gate here but should be passable) turn left on the Restricted Byeway towards WP 12.


COMTw12 Waypoint 12
Ridgeway / BOAT
If you are approaching WP 12 from WP 7, WP8 or WP 11 continue straight on to WP 13 at Aldworth Road.


COMTw13 Waypoint 13
Road
At the cross roads, turn right on to Aldworth Road, which becomes School Road, and then High Street to WP 14.


COMTw14 Waypoint 14
Road
The Village of Compton is OK to drive through to WP 15.


COMTw15 Waypoint 15
Ilsley Road / Chesseridge Road
The shorter route is to take the right fork towards WP 1 and the parking.
If you want to add on WP 16 to WP 17 to WP 18 to WP 19 to WP 20 and back to WP 21, then look for Chesseridge Road to the South West on the bend out of Compton.


COMTw16 Waypoint 16
Warnham Lane
Go past a couple of houses on your right and look for the BOAT at WP 16, going off to the right.


COMTw17 Waypoint 17
Restricted Byway
At the junction of Green Hams Lane turn right towards WP 18.


COMTw18 Waypoint 18
BOAT
At the junction of crossroads, turn right onto Dennisford Road towards WP 19.


COMTw19 Waypoint 19
BOAT
Contine across the road onto the BOAT towards WP 20.


COMTw20 Waypoint 20
BOAT
Turn right at the cross juncion of tracks to WP 21.


COMTw21 Waypoint 21
BOAT
Turn right at the crossroad of tracks onto the BOAT and return to the parking area at WP 1.
