From the lay-by at Whitley Brook Farm continue South on Whitley Lane over the motorway and, immediately after the bridge, turn right on a track that runs parallel to the motorway.To extend the ride turn North on Whitley Lane towards Northwood Hall Farm.

Where this track meets another at a T junction go through the gate and turn left along a narrow strip of woodland.

At the back of a cottage called The Ahes there is a three-way bridleway sign. Turn right here and across a field.

At the end of the field, go through the gate and right on a cobbled track, Back Lane and follow it to Arley Hall.

Just after the gates of Arley Hall, in the village, turn left on a track at the side of a house with garages behind it.

Follow this track which crosses two open fields, and cross the gated wooden bridge over the strean and bear right, meeting a road at Hollies Farm.

Go straight ahead on Hollins Laneand take the the first right, Keepers Lane.

Turn right on the bridlewayand at the end of this go straight on Flah Lane.

At the T junction turn right then first left on Lodge Lane.

After passing Crowley Lodge on your left, turn right again at the crossroads onto Arley Road.

You will now retrace your hoofprints through the grounds of Arley Hall to ` The Ashes `

At the three way bridleway junction at The Ashes, turn right, this short bridleway comes out on a tarmac estate road, turn left here and cross the stream.

At the T junction turn left on Cann Lane which brings you to the alternative parking at Litley Farm.

Continue across the motorway to your original parking and the start of the ride.

Just before the Northwood Hall Farm, turn left on North Wood Lane until you come to a T junction with a bridleway.

Turn left at the T junction and follow the bridleway to start of the main route carrying straght on at the bridleway junction.
